PARANÁ JUNGLE

ECOREGIONS AND NATIVE SPECIES OF ARGENTINA

Highlights: The sketches for this artwork were created by the artist during a train journey through Europe, from France to Spain. While observing a gray landscape, a continuous scenery devoid of trees, the artist felt the need to express himself to somehow protect the fauna and flora of a region in Argentina. On January 25, 2018, back in Buenos Aires, he transferred the sketches onto the canvas and, through an intense three-month effort, completed the artwork on March 18, 2018.

The work finds the purity, the simplicity and the synthesis of a native forest with its species in coexistence and in its maximum expression. The piece of art is a call to introspection, it is a message to the conscience of man. The artist wishes to communicate in this way that it is very important to know that only 6% of this forest exists in the region and that is why we must conserve it.
